Cookie Time isn't a big factory or a nationwide chain.
It's a small family bakery in The Hague, built on years of baking, creating and sharing great food with people.
For us, baking has never just been about recipes. It's about bringing people together. Whether it's celebrating a birthday, catching up over coffee, or simply taking five minutes out of a busy day, we believe a really good cookie has a way of making ordinary moments just a little more special.
That's what Cookie Time is all about.
Our story didn't begin with cookies.
For many years, we've been running our family catering business, Tarts, Catering & Cakes, creating cakes, desserts and catering for weddings, businesses, festivals and special occasions throughout the Netherlands.
Before that, Pien spent ten wonderful years running her own lunchroom in Scheveningen, where homemade food, good coffee and friendly service were always at the heart of everything she did.
After years of baking for others, we decided it was finally time to create something that was completely our own.
Something simple.
Something fun.
Something delicious.
That's how Cookie Time was born.
Because cookies make people smile.
There's something wonderfully nostalgic about opening a box of freshly baked cookies.
The smell.
The first bite.
The slightly melted chocolate.
The crispy edges.
The soft centre.
Whether you're treating yourself after a long day, sending a gift to someone you love, or sharing a box with family and friends, cookies have a way of creating little moments of happiness.
We wanted to create cookies that people genuinely look forward to receiving.
Every Cookie Time cookie is baked in small batches.
We don't believe in mass production or cookies sitting in warehouses waiting to be sold.
Instead, we bake with care, pack every order by hand and prepare each box as if we were sending it to friends.
Because, in a way, we are.
